Eric and Mary Bello started Bello’s Millwork in 1986. In the beginning, craft items such as lamps and bowls were the mainstay of the fledgling business. When the construction industry began requesting architectural wood columns and porch posts a new direction was established serving contractors. Soon other complex millwork was being asked for and the company began expanding its architectural offerings. The company grew through a reputation of fabricating high quality woodwork for both residential and commercial projects.
Bello’s growth has been steady and balanced, helping to maintain a "small company” feel while becoming a major manufacture in the state. Today we are primarily a stile and rail door, window, moulding and stair manufacturer. Our products are still made right here on Oahu and sold into projects throughout the state of Hawaii.
Our employees are the heart of this company. Their skills, creativity, hard work and pride in making our fine wood products show in every detail.
We use some very advanced equipment in our shop including several state of the art computer controlled machines including a molder, rip saw and routers. These, along with traditional knowledge and craftsmanship from our team, make for a powerful combination. You can see the result of this successful formula of traditional skills and technology in the quality of the woodwork we create.
At Bello's Millwork our goal is to:
-provide the highest quality products and services to our customers,
-maintain customer relations and satisfaction,
-provide a safe environment in which to work,
-provide opportunities for our employees to grow and advance,
-maintain honest and ethical behavior,
-contribute to the community in which we do business, and
-contribute to the industry in which we do business.
We believe that our employees' enjoyment and satisfaction from the performance of their work illustrate a measure of our success. Likewise, the exposure of our customers and other business acquaintances to our company should generate a positive feeling; one that elicits a desire to do business with Bello's Millwork on a continuing basis.
